“Kirti Mandir” is currently being established by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj at Barsana Dham, the birthplace of Shri Radha Rani. The temple area is 12,000 square feet and the height is 101 feet. It is unique because it is the only temple in the world that will depict Radha Rani in Her childhood form, cradled in the arms of Mother Kirti, spreading the glory of the Radha Rani’s appearance throughout the world. The darshan will also feature a life-size deity of Radha Rani, the only one of its kind in Braj. Deities of the Astha Maha Sakhi (8 of Radha Rani's closest friends) will also be placed inside the temple. The sandstone temple is being hand carved on site by the large number of temple artisans living at the ashram. The temple also will feature white marble carvings, and black granite columns. Begun in 2007 the temple walls are gradually but steadily rising. Once completed, this temple will be a unique and priceless treasure for all devotees of Radha and Krishna.
