April 2024 Newsletter and Report

April 2024 was a busy month for JKP’s philanthropic work. Distributions were held at Shri Kripalu Dham, Vrindavan, Barsana and Radha Kunj. Thousands of villagers and school children, all coming from underprivileged homes, were the beneficiaries.

The highlight of this month, however, was the special Ram Navami Sadhana Shivir 2024, which was held for the first time at Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana. Devotees from all over India and the world attended this special Sadhana Shivir.

We also met a little boy, Atul who came to Shri Kripalu Dham, Mangarh Hospital with his father. His whole body was swelling and he felt a lot of pain. The team at Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Mangarh, made a lot of effort to help this little boy. We brought you this inspiring story in April and you can watch all the REELs by clicking the links shared below.

4th April 2024 – Distribution of essential items – Shri Kripalu Dham

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat gave out useful items to 10,000 villagers on 4th April 2024 These included a stainless steel wash basin (multipurpose), cups and a hot case to keep food warm. Throughout the year, useful items are given to those in the community around Shri Kripalu Dham.
The Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji personally choose the items to be given out for all distributions. They personally guide the sadhaks and they themselves help to personally give the items to the villagers. In this way, they are continuously reminding us of Shri Maharaj Ji’s practices and teachings through their actions.
For many villagers who may be facing economic hardships, receiving essential items as gifts help to alleviate their financial burdens. It reduces the need to spend money on these necessities, freeing up resources for other essential expenses such as education, healthcare, or housing.

Distribution of essential items – Shri Vrindavan Dham and Shri Barsana Dham

A total of 11000 school children, who live at Vrindavan and Barsana, were given important summer necessities such as soaps, bucket, towel, jug, glass etc. During the summer, due to extreme heat, these important items are necessary so the children keep fresh. Just imagine, some of these children live in very unhygienic environments and do not have these items with them so they can be very useful.

13th to 17th April 2024 Ram Navami Sadhana Shivir – Rangeeli Mahal

A special 5-day Sadhana Shivir (13th to 17th April) was held in Barsana Dham to celebrate Ram Navami, which fell on 17th April 2024. Many programmes had been lined up for this special Shivir. The shivir was held in Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana.

During this Shivir, the day would start with Aarti and prayers followed by a video speech of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Devotees then would visit the beautiful and mesmerising Kirti Mandir to take part in the Aarti of Baby Radha and deities of Shri Radha Krishna and Shri Sita Ram. A melodious sankirtan session would then commence at the temple itself.

A beautiful Ram Leela in two parts depicting the life of Lord Ram was put up by Rangeeli Mahal residents. One particularly poignant scene where Lord Ram was depicted leaving his beloved Ayodhya for his 14 years’ exile, got the whole audience drowned in tears. It was so emotionally moving. The Barsana devotees also put up a wonderful Qawwali programme singing the glories of our Gurudev and his Grace.

A special outing was also organized to Prem Sarovar. Prem Sarovar is a divine place in Barsana which was the secret meeting place of Shri Radha Krishna and supposedly created by the tears of love of the Divine Couple. Our Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Presidents, H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji led the special sankirtan session at Prem Sarovar. Devotees sang and danced to the blissful chantings of Shri Ram bhajans in the serene surroundings of the divine lake.

The Shivir culminated with the actual celebration of Ram Navami which was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on 17th April 2024. The Broadcast of this important event took place on our channel www.youtube.com/jkpindia. The day started with Aarti of Lord Ram and Abhishek of our Gurudev, Shri Maharaj Ji. A special Palki Yatra was held at the Kirti Mandir where Shri Ram Lalla was carried on the palki and all devotees did a parikrama of Kirti Mandir. There was also a cake cutting and Abhishek of Shri Ram ji. It was a most joyous and memorable occasion.
