10th Anniversary of Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Vrindavan

A Decade of Healing, Seva, and Compassion

Health is the foundation of a dignified life, yet for countless underprivileged individuals, even the simplest form of medical care remains an unattainable dream. Many struggle without a proper home, clean drinking water, or even a safe bed to rest upon. Their surroundings are unhygienic, essential medications are out of reach, and the nearest clinic may be miles away.

It was with this divine inspiration that, on 18th September 2015, the doors of Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC), Vrindavan were opened. From that day forward, thousands have found not only free medical care but also dignity, hope, and comfort in their time of need. What began as a humble vision—a free 100-bedded hospital for the underprivileged of Braj—has, in just ten years, grown into a beacon of healing, compassion, and hope. Today, JKC Vrindavan stands tall as a living embodiment of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj’s timeless vision of selfless service to the needy.

A Vision Born of Divine Compassion

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, the 5th Original Jagadguru in history, is revered as the embodiment of divine love and compassion. Through His profound spiritual wisdom and boundless kindness, He not only guided countless souls on the path of devotion to Shri Radha Krishna but also established institutions of service that uplift humanity. To Him, serving the poor was no different from serving God. With this spirit, He inspired the founding of three hospitals—in Pratapgarh, Barsana, and Vrindavan—with one single mission: to provide quality healthcare to the poor and needy, completely free of cost.

Among these, JKC Vrindavan holds a special place. Situated in the holy land of Braj, it was envisioned not just as another hospital, but as a temple of healing—where science and devotion meet, where every patient is seen as a child of God, and where treatment is offered with dignity and love.

Healing with Dignity

At all Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya hospitals, patients receive not only treatment but also respect, compassion, and dignity. Each hospital offers a range of medical services: allopathy, homeopathy, naturopathy, and physiotherapy.

Doctors and caregivers serve without salary, motivated only by seva and the joy of relieving suffering. Facilities are clean and welcoming, and patients are cared for with love and devotion. In just over a decade, the three JKC hospitals have touched more than 5 million lives, giving the poor not just healthcare but also hope.

A Decade of Service in Vrindavan

This year, 2025, marks a deeply significant milestone: the 10th Anniversary of JKC Vrindavan, inaugurated on 18th September 2015.

JKC Vrindavan provides:

  • Free consultations and in-patient treatment
  • Free diagnostics and laboratory tests (including X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, CT scan, and pathology)
  • Free medicines and follow-up care
  • Services in General Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Naturopathy, and Homoeopathy

Beyond curative care, JKC runs preventive health programs—heart camps, eye camps, cataract surgeries, dental clinics, skin camps, and blood donation drives—reaching the most underserved communities of Braj.

Stories of Healing

Every patient has a story, and every story reflects JKC’s mission.

Manju, 40 – arrived breathless and weak with dangerously high blood pressure. With free treatment and guidance, she regained her health and confidence.
Shubham, 13 – came with a painful swelling on his lip. Surgeons removed it safely, and within two days, his smile was restored.
Ramu, 7 – malnourished and sickly, received nutrition support and care. Today, he thrives in school, full of energy and life.
Shyam Lal, a farmer – collapsed from untreated diabetes. JKC saved his life. “This hospital gave me back my life. Without it, I would not be here,” he says.

Such stories are countless. They are not only about medicine—they are about restoring dignity, hope, and faith through compassionate care.

The People Behind the Seva

JKC Vrindavan is staffed by 17 resident doctors, 18 visiting specialists, and 140 support staff. None of them take a salary. Each serves selflessly, guided only by the belief that their service is worship of Shyamsundar Himself.

As one senior doctor expressed it:

“Every patient I treat here, I see as my Lord in human form. This is not just a hospital—this is a temple of healing.”

This spirit of devotion is what makes JKC Vrindavan unique. Patients often say that while medicines heal the body, here they also receive something greater—the grace of Shri Maharaj Ji, the soothing power of seva, and the invisible touch of divine blessings.

The Guiding Hands – JKP Presidents

Carrying forward the divine mission of Shri Maharaj Ji (Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj) are the Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat:

  • H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji
  • H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji
  • H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji

They are the beloved daughters of Shri Maharaj Ji and the torchbearers of His vision. With their spiritual wisdom, academic excellence, and boundless compassion, they oversee JKP’s philanthropic arms—three charitable hospitals, educational institutions for underprivileged girls, and large-scale community welfare drives. Their leadership ensures that every act of seva continues in the same spirit as taught by Shri Maharaj Ji: “See God in every soul, and serve with love.”

Join Hands in This Important Mission

The 10th Anniversary of JKC Vrindavan is not just a celebration of years, but of faith, seva, and compassion in action. Behind every life healed is the dedication of doctors, staff, volunteers, and donors who make this mission possible.

As JKC enters its second decade, the need is greater than ever—widows, children, farmers, and daily wage earners depend on its doors being open. By supporting JKC Vrindavan, you are not just funding treatment—you are giving sight to the blind, strength to the weak, hope to the hopeless, and dignity to the forgotten.

As we step forward into the next decade, let us do so with renewed faith and conviction—inspired by Shri Maharaj Ji’s vision, and led with love by the Presidents of JKP.
